The airport is situated in Bouguenais, 10km (6 miles) southwest of Nantes.
Driving Directions
Nantes Atlantique is located near the Grand-Lieu gate (exit 51) on the Nantes ring road. It is a 15-minute drive from the city centre to the airport.
Car Parking
There are eight car parks at the airport, some for short-term parking, some for long-term (more than five days). P4 is a covered car park located right next to the terminal. It is possible to pre-book a space for any of the car parks (tel: (02) 4084 8100).
Car Hire
Car hire is available from Avis, Europcar, Hertz, National/Citer and Sixt. Service desks are located on the esplanade, right next to the hire car parking lot.
Public Transport
Road
Bus: The TAN Air Shuttle (tel: 0810 444 444) links the centre of Nantes (SNCF station) to the airport (journey time - 20 minutes). Alternatively, bus 37 stops outside Hall 1 and goes La Neustrie terminus on the tramway line 3. From then it's a short hop to Place du Commerce, in the heart of the city.
Taxi: A taxi rank is located on the esplanade opposite Hall 1 (tel: (02) 4069 2222).
