The airport is located by the north coast of Rhodes Island, about 16km (10 miles) to the south west of Rhodes city, near the town of Paradhissi.

Driving from the airport to the town of Rhodes or the other way is straightforward. Just take the main road along the northwest coast and follow the signs either for the airport or the city.

Situated straight across from the terminal building, the airport's car park offers both long-term and short-term parking.

Car rental companies currently operating at the airport include Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz.

Road: Bus: The airport bus stop is situated 300 metres from the terminal building, and buses go to Rhodes city as well as several other destinations in the area. Departures to Rhodes are quite frequent, but less so in the weekend. Olympic Airways buses run between the airport and the city in correspondence with the airline's arriving and departing flights.
Taxi: Taxis can be hailed from the taxi rank in front of the terminal.

The airport information desk (tel: 22410 83200) is located centrally in the terminal building.

Money and communications: ATMs, a bank and a bureau de change are available in the terminal building.
Eating and drinking: A restaurant, bar and café offer food and drink at the airport.
Shopping: In addition to the duty-free shop, which sells perfumes, tobacco, food and drink products and much else, there is a kiosk selling newspapers, magazines and refreshments.
Luggage: Luggage lockers are available in the terminal.
Other facilities: A medical centre (tel: 22410 88766) is available at the airport.

There are no conference or business facilities at the airport. It is worth enquiring at the information desk if you need to print, fax or copy something.

Facilities for disabled travellers are basic. There are toilets for wheelchair users. People who need assistance should contact their airline before travel.
