The airport is located 45km (28 miles) north west of Grenoble and 85km (52 miles) south east of Lyon
Driving Directions
From Lyon and Chambery, take the A43 towards the east and west respectively and turn south on the A48. Then about halfway to Grenoble take the exit signposted to Rives/Grenoble Airport, head west and follow the signs to the airport. From Grenoble, take the A48 towards the north and then take the exit signposted to Rives/Grenoble Airport, head west and follow the signs to the airport.
Car Parking
There are 500 parking spaces for cars just outside the main terminal. The first hour of parking is free.

Public Transport
Road: Taxi: Contact the information desk in the terminal building for taxi enquiries and booking. Transportation, whether to Grenoble or to the region's ski resorts, can also be booked from Abcibus (tel: (0)607 843 785), Premiere Class Transport (tel: (0)476 722 271) or VIP Limousines (tel: (0)472 481 618). Bus: Transisère (tel: 0820 083 838) operates a shuttle service between Grenoble Airport and Grenoble Coach and Train Station that corresponds with all scheduled flights at the airport. Services are hourly both ways throughout the day. The company also offers services to 2 Alpes, Alpe d'Huez, Chamrousse, Villard de Lans and Prapoutel. AGBus (tel: 0825 825 836) operates daily scheduled services to Lyon, Bourg St Maurice and Moutiers.
