The airport is located 8km (5 miles) from Manchester city centre and less than 80km (50 miles) north of Boston.

A three-gate expansion of the terminal to the north is scheduled for completion in 2006/2007. Future plans include a nine-gate terminal addition along with the associated apron and taxiways and an additional parking garage.

Coming from the south or north, take I-93 to I-293/SR101 and then turn off at exit 2. Coming from the west, take SR101 to I-293/SR101 and turn off at exit 2. Coming from Maine and the Seacoast, take I-95 south to SR101 and then to I-293/SR101, turning off at exit 2. Having turned off at exit 2, turn again at the bottom of the ramp and follow Brown Avenue for 2km (1.5 miles) until signs for the airport appear.

The airport has some 11,000 parking spaces in total. There are two short-term parking lots adjacent to the terminal. The airport parking garage houses 4,800 spaces and is connected to the terminal by an elevated pedestrian walkway. The long-term lots are located further away, but they are all served by a free shuttle service. Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty are all located within the terminal.

Road: Shuttle: A scheduled shared van service to Boston is provided by Flight Line Inc. (tel: (603) 893 8254).
Bus: Manchester Transit Authority (tel: (603) 623 8801) and Vermont Transit Company (tel: (802) 862 9671 or 1 800 552 8737) provide scheduled bus services from the airport, the latter to Boston.
Taxi: Taxi service is available in front of the terminal. Reliable Airport Service LLC (tel: (603) 858 9730), E & L Airport Service (tel: (603) 568 6899) and Executive Airport Service (tel: 1 800 729 1621) are among the companies serving the airport.

The information desk is located on the first level of the terminal, next to the baggage claim.

Money and communications: There are several ATMs throughout the terminal. Wireless Internet is also available free of charge.
Eating and drinking: There are three full-service restaurants and several other food outlets located throughout the terminal.
Shopping: There are several news-stands and gift shops in the terminal building.
Luggage: Lost and found (tel: (603) 628 6019) should be contacted to enquire about lost items.

The Granite Club is an airport-run frequent flyer lounge with business facilities. There is also a business centre at the airport. Both offer access to fax, photocopying and the Internet. A large conference room is located on the third floor of the terminal.

The airport is fully ADA compliant, offering accessible lifts, ramps and toilets, in addition to disabled car parking spaces in the garage and on all surface parking lots.
