The airport is located 6km (4 miles) northwest of central Fargo.

Significant passenger terminal expansion was completed in the summer of 2008, including extra departure gates and security screening areas.

Exit I-29 at 19th Avenue north (exit 67). Travel east on 19th Avenue to the first set of signal lights. Turn north on Dakota Drive to the terminal building.

Parking lots are located directly across from the terminal. There is short- and long-term parking at the airport. There are parking spaces for more than 1,500 vehicles. For more parking information, call (701) 241 1591.

Car hire agencies at the airport include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National.

Road: Taxi: Doyle's Yellow Checker Cab (tel: (701) 235 5535) and Lucky 7 Taxi (tel: (701) 235 1717) provide taxi services from the airport.

Money and communications: There is one ATM located in the lower terminal. Wi-Fi Internet access is available throughout the terminal and concourse. A wireless card is required to use the service.

Shopping: Travellers can shop in the airport gift shop, which features North Dakota-made products.

There are also loading areas for disabled travellers adjacent to the front doors of the passenger terminal.
