The airport is situated 18km (11 miles) northwest of Leeds and 11km (7 miles) north of Bradford.

From Leeds, the airport can be reached by following signs for Yeadon and Otley northbound on the A660. From Bradford, take the A658 northbound out of the city centre and again follow signs for Yeadon. The airport is signposted on all major roads over a wide area, including the M1 and M62 motorways and the Yorkshire section of the A1.

The airport has plenty of parking spaces in both short- and long-term car parks, which are clearly signposted. A courtesy shuttle bus operates from the long-stay parking lot to the terminal building. Avis, Europcar and Hertz all have desks located close to International Arrivals.

Road
Bus: The Metroconnect 757 bus service operates between the airport and Leeds city centre rail and bus stations (journey time - 20-30 minutes) and Otley. Tourist information is available at the information desk located in Departures, next to check-in.

Money and communications: Bureau de change facilities, Internet kiosks and Wi-Fi connections are available. Telephones can be found in the terminal too.
Eating and drinking: There are numerous pubs, cafes and snack bars at the airport, including two food villages.
Shopping: Shops include a duty-free shop, a bookshop, newsagents, a chemist and a travel agent.
Other facilities: These include a children’s play area, a mother and baby room, a quiet room, on-site massage and a VIP lounge.

Conference facilities are available at the airport, with a ‘Board Room’ located on the first floor of Arrivals, catering for up to 150 delegates. There is also a Servisair Executive Lounge (tel: (0113) 239 1583), or passengers can join the Yorkshire Executive Club (tel: (0113) 391 3271), which offers use of the executive lounge. 

There are reserved car parking spaces in the short-term car park opposite the terminal. Lifts connect all floors of the terminal building. Disabled toilets are situated on every floor throughout the terminal building. Wheelchairs, ramps, ambulift transport and extra assistance are all available on request from the individual handling agents. A hearing induction loop is also installed.

There is no hotel on site. The Travelodge Leeds Bradford (tel: 0870 984 6275, in UK only; website: www.travelodge.co.uk) is situated on the A658 across the road from the terminal, and shuttle transfer is available. The Premier Inn Leeds Bradford (tel: 0870 977 153, in UK only; website: www.premierinn.com) is also on the A658, minutes from the airport; so is the Britannia Leeds Bradford Hotel (tel: 0845 838 5551, in UK only; website: www.britanniahotels.com). The Chevin Country Park Hotel (tel: (01943) 467 818; website: www.crerarhotels.com) is located 3km (2 miles) from the airport in Otley, while the Ramada Leeds Parkway (tel: (01494) 436 256 or 0844 815 9020, in UK only; website: www.ramadajarvis.co.uk) is a bit further away on the A660. Local hotel information is available (tel: (0113) 250 9696).
