The airport is located 17km (10 miles) south of St Petersburg.

A free shuttle bus service transfers passengers between the Domestic and International Terminals (Pulkovo 1 and 2 respectively) (journey time - 15 minutes).

From St Petersburg, drive south on Moskovsky Prospekt. When Moskovsky Prospekt becomes Pulkovskoe Shosse, take the first right for Pulkovo 2 or the second right for Pulkovo 1.

Parking facilities are available close to both terminals. The multi-storey car park at Pulkovo 2 is connected to the terminal via a heated walkway.

Avis, Europcar and Hertz are represented at the airport. Travellers should be aware that driving in and around St Petersburg may not be a good idea due to the condition of the roads and the erratic nature of the signage.

Road: Bus: Airport Express (tel: (812) 388 0845) runs fast services every 20-30 minutes between the the two terminals and metro stations Moskovskaya, Tekhnologichesky Institut, and Pushkinskaya in the centre of St. Petersburg. Public buses 13 and 39 also serve the airport. Bus 13 leaves for St Petersburg from the front of the central office building at Pulkovo 2. There are two stops. Buses leaving from the stop nearest Arrivals will take passengers to the Moskovskaya Metro Station. Bus 39 departs from in front of the Pulkovo 1 west entrance/exit and runs to Moskovskaya Metro Station, stopping at Kievskoe Shosse en route. Travellers can also take shuttle bus 39 from Pulkovo 1 and shuttles buses 3, 13 and 113 from Pulkovo 2 to the centre of St Petersburg.
Taxi: Taxis are available. Companies include Peterburgskoe Taxi (tel: 068), Evrotaksi (tel: (812) 740 1313) and Fortuna Taxi (tel: (812) 322 0000). There are minibus taxis that are only marginally more expensive than local buses; these depart for St Petersburg from outside both terminals and run to Moskovskaya Metro Station.

There are information desks as well as touch-screen information stations in both terminals. Tourist information counters (tel: (812) 310 2822) are also available in both terminals, in sector B on the ground floor in Arrivals hall 2 in Pulkovo 1 and in the baggage reclaim area on the ground floor in the Arrivals hall in Pulkovo 2. .

Money and communications: Bureaux de change, ATMs and a post office are available in both terminals. The post offices offer photocopying and various telecommunication services. Wireless Internet access is available in both terminals.
Eating and drinking: There are restaurants, cafés and bars situated throughout both terminals.
Shopping: Shopping includes duty-free. A newsagents and convenience store are located on the first floor of the Pulkovo 2 Departures.
Luggage: Lost and found desks are in the baggage reclaim areas of both terminals, in Pulkovo 1 (tel: (812) 723 8361) and in Pulkovo 2 (tel: (812) 324 3787).
Other facilities: There are First Aid posts in both terminals and a mother and child’s room is available. There is a pharmacy and a hairdresser’s in Pulkovo 1. Showers are available.

The airport has business lounges that can provide telephone and fax facilities in Terminal 1 (tel: (812) 331 4786) and Terminal 2 (tel: (812) 704 3434). There are also VIP facilities in both terminals. The nearby Pulkovskaya Hotel (tel: (812) 140 3979; website: http://pulkovskaya.afatravel.com) has business and conference facilities, including a conference hall for up to 500 delegates, a meeting room for 35 delegates, and a business centre; a translation service is available for conferences.

The airport is physically accessible. There are lifts and designated toilets for disabled travellers. An ambulift is available for boarding or disembarking. Passengers requiring special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.

The Pulkovskaya Hotel (tel: (812) 140 3979; website: http://pulkovskaya.afatravel.com), situated on Ploschad Pobedy, 5km (3 miles) from the airport, is easily accessible by public transport.
